Romans 15:5-6

• Why is unity with other Christians such an important part of following Jesus?

As much as our individual walks with God matter, we have the ability to encourage one another in community. Connecting with other Christians can be an uplifting experience because what they have learned can be helpful to you, and what you have learned can be helpful to them. While God calls us individually and in unique ways, not asking us to imitate anyone, through community, we can be strengthened in our own walks. What else is beautiful is that unity with all people is important to following God. Christian or not, God is still moving in the lives of people whose stories can help us understand how God is moving in our own lives.
