• What difference does your faith make in your life?

The difference faith gives me is the ability to be confident in situations I have no business being confident in. I saw this in my mother often, someone who I saw as the standard of faith. There were very few things that fazed her. A moment that comes back to my mind is when my mom was facing a difficult time at work. The patients she was caring for were not responding to the nurses, the administration was making cuts— things were not in a good place. Despite all the chaos, my mom came home with a smile each day and would say, “Things will be good.” Her faith didn’t guarantee the outcomes she hoped for; her faith gave her peace of mind, being willing to see God’s goodness no matter the outcome. How can you bring faith into your worries today?
