• What motivation do you have for bringing honor to God?

What motivates me to bring honor to God? There are a lot of things that motivate Christians to honor God. It can be going to heaven. It can be to receive blessings. People can be motivated to be seen as “good” in the eyes of others. While all those reasons sound nice, I think the most important motivation is your relationship with God. The things we eat, the things we wear, and the things we feel moved to say and do should be out of the relationship we have. We do that with all the other people in our lives; we should follow that same process in our connection with Jesus. We speak in ways that honor our friends and family. We go places that honor our connections—hopefully not out of fear, but commitment to each other. Let your relationship with God be the main drive to honor God with the things you do.
