• What is the state of your heart? Is it honoring to God?

Honoring God does not require a perfect heart, but it does require us to have an open and willing one. A heart willing to love when it’s difficult, to listen when other voices are loud, to slow down when the pace of life forces us to speed up. When you are tired, busy, distracted, or stuck, you are still qualified to honor God. You do not need to be on a spiritual high to serve God and others; you do not need to be on time for church three weeks in a row. That nudge you feel from God is an invitation, not a judgment. What are the things that make you feel like you need to shy away from God instead of open up to God? Bring those things to God and let God lead you to live a life you are proud of.
