READ: Matthew 6:25-27

• What do you learn in these verses about the way God takes care of us?

When we take in the beauty of nature, we should find peace in how it isn’t random. The beauty of the birds, the beauty in the plants that bloom— these are all examples of God’s intentionality in creation. This text reminds us that God values us more than the birds and flowers. God takes care of them and wants to take care of us even more. We never need to feel disheartened by the greatness we see in other things—what makes other things great should remind us of the greatness God has set within each one of us.
