• What’s one way you can “season” your talk today?

As Christians, we may feel like the more we memorize rules, the more Christian we will sound. We can be pressured to memorize Bible verses so that we will be more holy in the way we talk—but these things do not season the way we speak. What seasons our conversations is when we let love be the center. I am not talking about “tough love,” which we far too often feel justified in speaking, but love like Jesus. Let your conversations be filled with care when you don’t understand, and love even when it is difficult. By doing this, our talks will be seasoned in a way that makes Jesus glad.
