Judges 6:14-16; 7:19-21

• How does God bless us when we are meek?

It is very tempting to think that we need to be aggressive to get our way. When we look at people in power or influential positions, we can often find people who prioritize their own interests over others. These people will say they got to where they are by any means necessary. But there’s a difference between being confident and being aggressive. God wants us to be successful, God wants us to achieve our goals, and God promises us these things through the path of being gentle, kind, and long-suffering. We do not need to fight for our success; God blesses us when we take the path of gentleness.
