READ: Revelation 4:1-11

(Answer the question/s below in your app notes)

• This passage talks about the glory of heaven. Write about or draw (or color or paint!) a picture about the glory of heaven and how you would worship God with everything you have.

We hugged into our coats and scarves as we left the church building, the cold outside flushing our cheeks. As we cut through the parking lot, anxious to blast the car heater, my dad was still reflecting, in awe, on the concert we just heard. “Their harmonies were so good!” he mused. “Man”— shaking his head passionately—“that must be what heaven sounds like.”

What do you think heaven sounds like? Looks like? Smells like? We have snippets of it in the book of Revelation, but so much of heaven remains an exciting mystery. Sometimes we get small previews of heaven here on earth: moments that stop us in our tracks. A song that gives you chills. Laughter that makes your stomach hurt. A feeling of peace that shows up when life feels messy. Those moments don’t last forever, but they remind us of what’s coming.

Heaven isn’t just something to think about later. The hope of heaven helps us live differently now— with kindness, courage, and trust—because the best is still ahead.
