• Why is heaven worth getting ready for?

I went to Hawaii recently, and it was the best vacation I’ve ever been on, from all the tasty poke I ate to the beautiful long drives overlooking the ocean. There was a moment during a walk to a nearby café when I thought to myself, “It doesn’t get better than this.” While that moment was special and that trip was amazing, God wants us to know that there is something even better. Now, even though something better exists, it does not take away from the beauty of the present. It should motivate us to know that in the beauty we see now, there’s more to look forward to. So, celebrate these moments now, and when you feel the joy from the present, know that there’s even more joy coming, when we see Jesus face to face.
