READ: Ezekiel 36:25

(Answer the question/s below in your app notes)

• What things do you need “clean water” sprinkled on?

We had some hot summers in the city I grew up in. We would be out all day playing sports as young middle schoolers, but we would also suffer from the sun blazing down on us. That didn’t stop us from sprinting and tackling each other during street football, or running up and down the asphalt during basketball. But during the summers, as hot as it would get, there would be times where water would simply sprinkle from the sky. We looked forward to those moments because even though it wasn’t storming, those few drops of water refreshed us. God’s cleansing is not about shame or rejection, but about renewal and restoration. I want God to sprinkle fresh water on my motivation so I can be refreshed and renewed in the things I’m called to do.
