Here are some simple, (some funny), real-life ways to practice unselfishness:

• Compliment Espionage: Compliment someone behind their back.

• Group Project Bow Out: Let someone else take charge, even if you’re the genius, so that everyone can shine.

• Locker Lottery: Offer to carry a friend’s backpack or books to class.

• Snack Share: Share your favorite snack with someone at your cafeteria table.

• Doorman/Doorwoman: Hold the door for everyone coming into class until it starts, greeting them all with smiles.

• Chair Hero: Push in someone’s chair after class, or help rearrange chairs for a group.
