DEVOTIONAL:

Does your family open presents around Christmastime? I remember last Christmas, I found a present under the tree that was wrapped in paper that had silver, glittery snowflakes on it, and a big, red velvet bow. I almost didn’t want to open it because it was so beautiful! (I did open it, though, and it was a fuzzy blanket!)

Jesus gives us so many gifts that are better than even the biggest ones underneath the tree. One of the best gifts Jesus has ever given us is the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit helps us and connects us to God and Jesus in heaven. So whenever you see a pretty present, you can remember that Jesus has already given you the most wonderful gift of all—His Spirit!
