DEVOTIONAL:
Hot and cold. Black and white. Happy and sad. Those are opposites! In the Bible, there were two brothers: Jacob and Esau. They were very different. God loved Jacob. God loved Esau.
God loves you, too! Sometimes we are different from our brother, sister, or friends.
That’s okay. We can still be kind. When we want different things, we can use kind words, take turns, and ask a grown up for help.
BIBLE VERSE: Genesis 25:27
QUESTION: Do you like to be outside like Esau? Or stay inside like Jacob?
PRAYER: Dear God, help me to get along with people who seem so different from me. I know that you love us all. Amen.
