DEVOTIONAL:

At bedtime, do you ever read books with your parents? Which ones are your favorite?

The Bible is one big book made up of a bunch of smaller books! Each book was written for its own purpose. Do you know why the gospel of John was written? John tells us in chapter twenty that the stories written in his book “are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah…and that by believing you may have life in his name.” Just like your favorite bedtime stories, the stories in the Bible help us learn more about Jesus and how much He loves us!

QUESTION: If you were going to write a book, what would it be about?

PRAYER: Dear Jesus, thank you for all the books in the Bible that help me believe. Amen.
