TUESDAY - Growing In Truth

DEVOTIONAL:

In the Bible, there were two brothers: Jacob and Esau. Esau was the older brother, and he was very hungry one day. Jacob had a yummy bowl of soup.

Esau said, “I’m so hungry!” Jacob said, “You can have my soup if you give me your special blessing.” That was not fair. Jacob was tricking Esau.

God wants us to be honest and kind, not sneaky. When we tell the truth and share nicely, it makes God happy!

QUESTION: How was Jacob being unfair to Esau?
