DEVOTIONAL:

When Thomas asks questions about Jesus’ resurrection, he also asks to see the scars where Jesus was hurt. Jesus kindly shows Thomas His hands, and after Thomas is convinced, tells Thomas that he is blessed because he got to see Jesus’ scars. Then, Jesus says something about you and me! Jesus says: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” That means that even though we can’t see Jesus like Thomas did, when we choose to believe in Jesus without seeing Him, we are extra blessed!

BIBLE VERSE:

John 20:26-29

QUESTION:

What is something you believe in? Why do you believe in it?

PRAYER:

Dear God, please help me to believe, even though I can’t see you with my eyes. Thank you for your grace and understanding of my questions, like in the story of Thomas. Amen.
