DEVOTIONAL:

 Some writers, also called authors, write books to teach, like science writers or the writers of your school books. Some authors write to entertain, like the ones who write made-up stories for kids and grown ups to read. The gospel of John records the reason the author wrote: “So that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah…and that by believing, you may have life in his name.” What an amazing reason to write a book: to help us know and love Jesus, and to find life in Him!
