DEVOTIONAL:

If you were a disciple, you would probably feel worried about Jesus leaving again after you just got Him back at the resurrection! But Jesus had to go back to heaven, and He knew that the disciples would feel scared and abandoned. So, He prepared the disciples for His absence by sending them the Holy Spirit. Today, we still have the Holy Spirit, because God never wants us to feel alone.

BIBLE VERSE:

John 20:20-23

QUESTION:

Jesus says to the disciples: “I am sending you.” Where do you think Jesus is sending you?

PRAYER:

Dear Jesus, please help me to follow your direction my whole life. Please send the Holy Spirit to my family and me today, and help us to forgive like you’ve forgiven us. Amen.
