Colossians 1:21-23

• How does the gospel bring you hope?

While I am scrolling through TikTok or Instagram, it does not take long for me to encounter a report of a horrible crime occurring somewhere across the country. These stories do not necessarily scare me, but they break my heart for the suffering caused to all the people involved. It breaks my heart to see how harmful a human can be. But that does not have to be who we are. The gospel shows us how good we can be, how much good we can do, and how much love we can spread. I find hope in the stories of Jesus because, despite how horrible we can be to one another, I know that we are capable of being so good to one another.
