John 1:1-2

• What does it mean for you that Jesus was at the beginning with God?

While we can be motivated, mentored, and guided by the life of Jesus on Earth, we can also f ind peace in Jesus’ divinity. Jesus came to Earth as a human while still being the same God who was at the beginning of the existence of the world. I compare it to how I’ve only known my parents since I was born, but before I was born, they lived a life doing all they could for the potential of my existence. Even before Jesus came to the Earth as a baby, Jesus had been working on our behalf, loving us and creating the best opportunities for us, since the creation of the world. Jesus was there from the beginning, and we can be excited by how he loves us eternally.
