• What are some of the things Christ created that you’re thankful for?

As much as I love things created by humans (I wasn’t an iPad kid, but if I were a kid today, I probably would be), being in God’s creation is where I can find peace. Trust me when I tell you, I am not the type to go on long or difficult hikes. I don’t want to swim across a lake, but when I am in the forest with a comfortable place to sit, I cannot help but admire birds in flight. Seeing how high they can be, how they can soar from place to place, how they can choose to come down to our level whenever they want…something about that has always fascinated me, and I am glad God created the birds. It’s important to find something in nature that we can resonate with, through which God speaks.
