Philippians 2:6-8

• How can you live more like Jesus?

One of my favorite things about Jesus that I read throughout the Gospels is His pace. He was not rushing from appointment to appointment the same way we are always hustling. We go from a full day of school to practice or rehearsal to completing loads of homework before getting any shut-eye. Our busy schedules can often cause us to miss out on what matters: people. Living more like Jesus can mean slowing down, doing less, and opening up your ears and heart to the people around you so that you can be a blessing to them and they can be a blessing to you. Throughout the Gospels, though Jesus does so much, he is never in a rush. That lack of hurry allowed him to care deeply for everyone, and we are invited to do the same.
