Scripture: Ezra 10:4

- How can you give support to someone who needs to be brave?

People can be motivated to be brave when they know someone has their back. When I was in middle school, there was an older kid who enjoyed picking on others at Sabbath School. He would push around my friends and me, calling us names and making other rude remarks. I told my older brother, and he told me that if anything happens again, all I need to do is run to his classroom and he’ll come help us out. This instantly removed all fear from me to go back to Sabbath School the next week. Because I knew my older brother had my back, I knew that I could be brave to be in the same space as the bully. If things got bad, I had someone who was going to take care of me. Motivate someone who needs to be brave by reminding them that they have an amazing God who has their back in the good and the bad.
