While God does not want a transactional relationship, we worship who God is and what God has done. We do not sit waiting for the next big thing that God does before we worship; we worship constantly because of God’s love for us, because of God’s character, and the things God has done. Worship does not only look like singing on Sabbath morning but can look like making time to pray and reflect on who God is to you. Sometimes, worship is simply breathing and recognizing the gift it is to breathe. While there are general things that make God worthy of worship, we need to identify the thing that makes God worthy in our hearts. Find that thing and focus on it. God is worthy.
