2 Kings 17:24-39

• How can people worship God and keep God separate from everything in their life at the same time?

We can worship God while keeping God separate because it is easy to put God in a box and bring God out in specific moments. We bring God out in chapel, when it’s time to take a test, when we attend church, or when we have to lead worship. Though nothing can separate us from God, we sometimes can make it so that we cannot notice God moving. God does not need to exist only on the Sabbath or in times of crisis. God wants to be present with you at the gym, in your music recitals, while you study for your exams. When we make God a part of our everyday lives, it makes the God we interact with at church and during difficult times that much clearer. Invite God into all moments of your life; that’s where God wants to be.
