• How can Jesus offer you peace?

I’ve always found peace in presence. I can find peace depending on who’s around me. It can be the most chaotic circumstance, but if I am with my wife or my close friends, I can find calm. But there are times when those people are not around and I am in a difficult situation…

In those moments, I have learned to find peace in the always-present God who is with us. I was able to begin feeling and recognizing the peace Jesus offers when I began to believe Jesus’ promise about always being with us. The last thing he tells his disciples in Matthew is that he will be with them until the end of time. Jesus was talking to his disciples at that moment, but that promise still extends to us thousands of years later.

Jesus offers us peace through his timeless promise to be with us always.
